Served from 26th November throughout December 2010 except Christmas Day.
 

To start...

 
Homemade Soup of the Day served with a warm bread roll.
Baked Smoked Salmon and cottage cheese tart served with mixed winter leaves.
Poached Winter Pear sat on a walnut and goats cheese salad.
Steamed Fillet of Sole rolled with salmon and sat on a bed of creamy leeks.
Crisp Confit Duck Leg served with spring onion salad and citrus dressing.
 
 

Then for the main course...

 
Traditional Sliced Turkey Breast served with sausage wrapped in bacon, homemade chestnut
stuffing and gravy.
 
Fillet of Plaice topped with shrimps, capers and brown butter.  
Homemade Stilton and Leek Nut Roast served with a saffron cream.  
Roast Crispy Belly of Pork sat on buttered Savoy cabbage and Madeira sauce.  
 

Afterwards...

 
Kiwi and Passionfruit Meringue Tartlets - a sweet shortcrust tart case filled with exotic fruit topped with baked meringue and finished with a raspberry coulis.  
Traditional Christmas Pudding served with a rich brandy sauce.  
Chocolate Roulade - a classic chocolate log filled with whipped cream served with a jug of warm Belgian chocolate sauce.  
Mulled Wine Pannacotta - a cold creamy dessert served with a warming mulled wine sauce.  
Mincemeat and Apple Strudels - mini filo rolls packed with mincemeat and apples sat on an orange syrup and accompanied with shortbread stars.  
 

Followed by...

 
Fresh tea or coffee and mince pies.
