Welcome...

Trish Kelly would like to welcome you to The New Horseshoe.

We are very proud of the quality of the dishes that we produce in our establishment. We believe that excellent food combined with fine wines and great beer is essential in making your experience with us memorable, and it ensures a different eating experience than is found in other pubs in these modern times. So whether you are local to The New Horseshoe, visiting us for the first time or returning to us, we have a venue that will suit everyone.

...I believe that fresh food is what it's all about!
In 'The Lounge' at lunchtime, we serve the traditional dishes that you'd expect to find in any local - fish 'n' chips, salads, jacket potatoes to name but a few. Served with good beer, our fresh ingredients and table service means you will have a meal to remember. The menu is designed to give you excellent value for money, with 2 courses costing just £8.95, and three courses only £10.95. We also have steaks and larger portions available for those with bigger appetites.

In our 'Bar' we serve a selection of sandwiches, such as steak and onion, BLT, ham and tomato all on baguettes or bread; as well as burgers, and of course, filled jacket potatoes. Finishing work or watching the sport whilst enjoying a pint, you can be assured of the same quality of the home cooked food as in every other area of the pub.

However, if you are after a culinary experience and a relaxing or special night out then you should be eating in our 'Kellbenney Restaurant'. We offer you and your guests excellent service and a dining experience to suit the whole family. This room is also available for civil weddings and conferences.

Our Chef is committed to quality service and dishes, and endeavours to deliver each of you with a dish cooked to your liking and made from nothing but fresh ingredients.

The story from beyond "that" kitchen door...
..."I believe that fresh food is what it's about! Any food run establishment can pick up a telephone and place an order for their frozen food, so from menu planning to each finished dish we serve, the food is sourced as local to the New Horseshoe as possible. It is all fresh and the best quality as we can get it...seasonal too! Our butcher is located in Sandbach and has won awards for his meat and our green grocer is from Congleton. Through this freshness, each dish is cooked for you when the kitchen receives your order, this may mean the starters can take several minutes to cook and you may wait a bit longer for a main course especially if you are not having a starter, but we believe your wait will be worth it."

"Also as each dish is not boil in the bag food or frozen, we can change these dishes a little to please your individual taste, from a different sauce or herb to something not even on the menu."

So please allow us to do the work. Sit back, relax and enjoy, and if there should be any reason why you are not satisfied with your visit, then don't hesitate to let us know.
